Add a debit card to your app
Apply and give your users in Oman a Visa or Mastercard USD debit card.

If your wallet, neobank or remittance app in Oman holds money for users, a debit card lets them spend it. With the Eisy debit card API you issue each user a Visa or Mastercard virtual USD card, move their money onto it when they top up in your app, and pay every purchase from that card’s own balance, with no credit and no overdraft.
The card is the same; what differs is who decides how much goes on it.
| Debit programme | Prepaid programme | |
|---|---|---|
| Who sets the amount | The user, by moving their balance in your app | You, the business |
| Typical use | Everyday spending | Rewards, allowances, payouts |
| Money comes from | Your business wallet | Your business wallet |
| Overdraft or credit | None | None |
Products teams launch on the Eisy card API.
International services Eisy card users in Oman pay for. Cards you issue through the API work on the same Visa and Mastercard networks.
Prices in Oman are in Omani rial (OMR); cards issued through Eisy hold US dollars. Merchants that charge in USD are paid directly, and charges in OMR or another currency are converted to USD by the card network.

Yes. Each card holder completes a quick ID and selfie check before cards can be issued to them. You can run this from your dashboard or through the API.
Webhooks. You receive signed events when a card is issued, funded, authorised, settled, declined, reversed, refunded, blocked or terminated, with automatic retries if your endpoint is down.
Pricing is set per business: a card creation fee, a funding fee (flat or percentage), and termination and decline fees. The fees for your account are shown in your merchant dashboard and before every action you confirm.
The card is the same; the programme differs. A debit card is your user’s everyday card, topped up from the balance they hold in your app. A prepaid card is loaded by you with an amount you choose, such as a reward, allowance or payout.
You load each card from your business USD wallet, through the dashboard or the API. Purchases are paid from the card’s balance, and you can withdraw unused funds back to the wallet.
No. A purchase larger than the card’s balance is declined, and you receive a card.transaction.declined webhook.
Yes. The cards hold US dollars, and when a merchant charges in Omani rial (OMR) or any other currency, Visa or Mastercard converts the amount to USD at the time of the transaction.
